I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Economics at Uppsala University and the Swedish Institute for Social Research.   • Swedish Research Council, project grant for When Low Grades Become High Stakes: How Upper-Secondary Eligibility Requirements and Introductory Programs Shape Ineligible Students’ Work and Welfare​. Project leader. Co-applicant with Iman Dadgar and Ema Demir. 6 598 483 SEK, awarded in November 2025. Also awarded 4 916 000 SEK from FORTE, but declined due to overlapping content.
     

  • FORTE, project grant for Transgender Youths’ Labor Market Entry and Exclusion: Hormones, Legal Gender Recognition, and Social Vulnerability. Co-applicant together with Ylva Moberg (main applicant) and Emma von Essen (co-applicant). 4 995 000 SEK, awarded in October 2025.
     

  • Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, research grant for Transgender youth in Sweden: Insights on demographic changes, healthcare patterns, and educational experiences from two decades of population-based data, 128 600 SEK, awarded in October 2024.
     

  • Swedish Research Council, project grant for The labor market and educational effects of gender transitioning in Sweden. Co-applicant with Emma von Essen (main applicant) and Ylva Moberg, 4 535 000 SEK, awarded in November 2022.
